GTI 6000 DVT fireplace replace thermopile but pilot still won't stay lit

Hi, I have a GTI 6000 DVT fireplace that hasn't worked for years so I finally decided to look at it. With a bit of research I did, it seemed that the thermopile needed to be replaced. So I replaced it but the pilot light still doesn't want to stay lit. I don't have a manual and there isn't a lot of info on this model on the internet so I've been looking at some of the general things to look at what else could be wrong with it. The next thing I'm going to look at replacing is the solenoid. Without a manual I am not 100% sure if that is the next step and also where exactly is the solenoid located.
