Gas Fireplae problem
My Heat-n-Glo(6000DVTFL) fireplace wont ignite the main burner. I just replaced the thermopile, and it dident solve the problem. The Pilot light works fine and stays lit. When I flip the button to turn it on noting happens. Any idea what would keep the main burner from igniting? It wont ignite from either the wall switch or the smaller switch by the valve.

Probably blocked up by a spider nest or a bee that got seriously lost.

I worked on a fireplace not long ago, it had both a thermopile and thermocouple. I replaced the thermopile which solved my issue, in order for the gas valve to open the thermocouple and thermopile need to sense the flame.
Take emery cloth to the thermocouple and see if that changes anything.
Rollout would suggest a dirty or blocked orifices.

Im working on some Gas logs for a customer and having the same issue. Pilot lights and stays lit for an hour or so and finally the main burner will turn on. The assembly has both thermopile and thermocouple. From my understanding the thermocouple detects proves pilot flame and the thermopile turns the main valve on. I've tested millivolts for the thermopile and have above the recommended millivolts signal (325mv +), but still no main burner. I assume I have a faulty Gas Valve. Anyone else run into this similar issue?
