    LONG NOSE PLIERS

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A PAIR OF MILWAUKEE LONG NOSE PLIERS AFTER I LOST MY BELOVED KLEIN.
THE MILWAUKEE ARE OK NOT TOO BAD BUT KLEIN ARE MUCH BETTER IN MY OPINION AND WORTED THE PRICE, ALMOST DOUBLE.
    WHAT IN YOUR BAG ??

    Some Klein, some others...
I prefer 'Channel Lock' brand pliers of the design Channelock is famous for...

Linemans pliers I do not care (they are for cutting romex)...
I like the GB wire strippers...
And lately, I have been buying Milwaukee this and that tools... they seem to be well thought out and work!

Definitely prefer Milwaukee battery tools (FUEL models)

Knipex are pretty much the gold standard, and they're priced like it too...

I also have got a Milwaukee 11-in-1 and wire stripper - very pleased with them so far. May get some more of their various hand tools.

The Milwaukee hand tools are way overpriced and not very good.

The Milwaukee power tools are fine.

Iv'e been using the channel lock needle nose for 25 years but the last pair the steel wasn't treated properly the tips just bent. I bought a pair of the Ideal ones they have nice grips but are a little clunky.

I'm using Dewalt. The 20 volt impacts go a long time between charging.

I don't own these yet and I've almost never read of anybody using Snap on but I read on the Snap-On site that the inside of the pliers-- I can't think what you call it but where it's textured, is machined, not stamped.

Klein makes some great tools but Knipex quality is unsurpassed hands down. I also have concluded from many purchases and comparison of tools that German hand tools/test instrument are almost always superior to most”American Made” tool manufacturers.

Irwin rebrands NWS pliers (german) as their own. (NWS is lower end German tools compared to knipex)

Professional Auto Mechanics buy Knipex off Snap-on trucks because Snap-on can buy Knipex tool company like they did with Bahco. Knipex is family owned and not a publically traded company.

Klein pump.pliers rebranded NWS brand. They don't make their own...

Knipex is universally well liked for certain as far as I know, for whatever that's worth-- I just like tools and read about them a lot.

I'm the same way, except I do buy them if they help make my job easier. I'm just a tool addict. I’m always researching brands, innovations and finding those unbeatable prices.
