    Like most everything else in this trade, things change because someone sued someone else OR lawyers looked at the newer thinner tanks they were producing and went OMG!!! what happens if someone overfills this and then sticks it in a hot truck? I remember when everyone carried a used refrigerant tank in their truck as a compressed air tank, same tank for decades.

    I only had to see the inside of a service vehicle once that had a refrigerant tank that the safety seal let loose. Luckily the guy (that was driving down the highway when it did it) got out before he suffocated.
    Use the biggest hammer you like, pounding a square peg into a round hole does not equal a proper fit.
