50 Amps on 8ga SO Rubber wire

Just hooked up a convection oven , I ran 6 ga over to it off a 60a breaker, and it already has a 6 foot piece of wire coming out from it but its only 8 ga stranded SO

THis is 3 phase 208 and ive got 49 49 50 pulling each leg

Since it apparently worked like that, I simply used split bolts to make my connections

Plus it would be really difficult to run the 6 ga to the contactor they have and make those tight turns . which might be why they used 8

    You think its ok ??
