    Bradford White Gas Valve 222-46181-01A vs 222-46181-01B

    Hello. Does anyone happen to know the difference other than the last letter? They look exactly the same but have been unable to verify if there's a difference. Thank you.

    It's generally a minor change in the valve. Maybe a structural change, some function or material, or maybe a nomenclature or supplier change.

    why are you replacing your HWT control?

    A guy I know thinks his is bad. I have this B variety but his is an A. All the other data plate info is the same.

    Marc gave a perfect description. The letter will indicate a small change that has no effect on the function or fit of the part.
