There is a slide valve solenoid that controls the oil pressure which controls the slide valve. Make sure it works.
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm Italian, I'll tell you from here. I contact you with an electronic translator.
I have a big difficulty with a DXS24L screw compressor model does not work from 25% to 100% of its capacity, the drawer does not move. Controlled oil pressure 16 Bar pressure HP 17,5. I replaced the oil filter, identical problem.
I wanted to replace the oil, but I do not know its viscosity.
Thanks for your help Hello.
There is a slide valve solenoid that controls the oil pressure which controls the slide valve. Make sure it works.
"Right" is not the same as "Wise".
Don't step on my favorite part of the Constitution just to point out your favorite part.
Just because you can measure it, doesn't mean it is important. Just because you can't measure it, doesn't mean it isn't important.
hello thanks for the advice. I also replaced that. after I replaced the filter. I wanted to understand the drawer and moved from the oil or gas coming from the HP delivery pipe? I ask you if you have a scheme of how the oil runs that lubricates all the parts.
This problem has started since the compressor broke the bearings. We have performed a complete overhaul of the compressor. Then it was installed on the machine and in its operation we verified that the compressor by removing and replacing the capacity valve coil did not change its capacity. We have rechecked all the channels where the oil circulates to see if there was a plugged channel but they are all free. tomorrow morning I want to install a pressure gauge on the communication hole in the drawer to see if there is pressure.
I ask a kindness reading in the forum I found that for this problem an external Kit is installed to solve the problem. It is possible to have a diagram of a manual of this external kit thanks My email Franciosoandrea@me.com
I may have a copy of the 230.10-M1 troubleshooting form email franciosoandrea@me.com Grazie
Hope these help, verify you have 0-10 volt signal to the load/unload solenoid coil,
Hello I apologize for the delay thanks to your advice I discovered the problem.
When reassembling the compressor I did not realize that an oil seal oring was broken and then the oil slipped from inside the bearings towards the screws, so as not to load or unload the drawer.
Thank you for your help.
See you next time.
Hello i have a problem like this, but my compressor on YCAS chiller have full load FLA(85+) on step 8 or 10, all next steps make nothing. But if step <8 it have normaly FLA (60-70).
I would further advise that you do not rebuild DXS compressors and you should replace the compressor with new, also use the troubleshooting procedure in the above email to determine where the problem is, there is not a golden bullit answer you have to read and understand what you are doing.
I cant run compressor on 75 steps becouse it current limiting and stop loading on 10 steps
Is the Current limiting set correctly ?
Yes. Last time the weather was too hot and i wait it will be cold for test. This chiller so old, condenser coils need cleaning and chiller placed so bad (two large walls in half a meter on condenser coils) but last year i have no problem with current on this system, compressor was replacement 2 years ago, it youngest compressor on this chiller.
well it is probably stuck on full load and will not unload even though screen is telling you it is trying to unload, so either the capacity control valve is not working properly or the slide is stuck or the discharge face seal has gone, did you read the bulletin i posted and do the tests?
Yes i read it, will test it next week. I think it capacity control valve, becouse it unloaded on <8 spets i see it on FLA. But why this valve broke so often, we plased new valve while compressor replaced.
Hello . my problem was due not to the control valve but inside the compressor that he did not flush the drawer, but I can assure that the change that was posted on works correctly if it is done correctly.
you can test the test if the valve or the capacitive valve bobbin, with a suitable magnet.
by inserting and removing this magnet you feel the difference in the sound change of the compressor, and you will also see the absorption ac, mbiare.
Hello We have another compressor with the problem of not unloading. After replacing the control valve, the problem is still there. The pressure on CTDP port is more than 2 times the suction pressure. After disassembling the compressor, it was found that the loading valve spring is broken. Will the replacement of the loading spring and control valve help?
Yes you need the spring to unload the compressor.

This may help, it was a common problem, you should also check compressors mountings are ok and that the AVM's (anti-vibration mounts ) under the chiller are all set correctly and that those avm springs are not 'bottomed out'
