It looks like its low on freon but it's not, cause the sightglass is clear liquid line not even warm. The compressor is pulling few amps below rated, there is something going on @ the condensor cause theres a lot of oil out my hose when I remove my gauges, I do want to mention that this is is 15ton split unit with 1 3/8 suction line may be it needs trap every 10ft & I dont see any, cause the roof is more then 50ft from the airhandler,am trying to give much as info I can.

    Measure the evaporator air flow!

    Measure the evap motor amperage!

Do you fight to take the covers off?

Comp oil sump hot, warm or cold?

I have measured the airflow, evap motor amp, not pulling enough amps, besides that I removed some freon as well, but still having issues.i need to find solution.the only thing that can cause restriction for the highside is the drier.

    Air Flow Issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone or many have added refrigerant in an attempt to raise the suction.

Pull the charge and weigh in a new charge.........

Actually measure the air flow compared to the fan curve for the unit.

Bet a fire damper(s) are closed!

Thats why im asking what the temp of the oil..............

Im confident theres a sever restriction of the air flow causing liquid slugging. That pulls the oil into the refrigerant stream and in-turn it goes all over more then normal!
