    Food grade silicone

Where I work there is a dish carousel which feeds a rinse sink and dishwasher. Some of the stainless steel meets a wall which is some sort of plastic. There is heat, grease and detergent, so previous caulking hasn't lasted very long. Is there a preferred product or brand for this application?

The primary function of the design engineer is to make things difficult for the fabricator and impossible for the serviceman.

Call a industrial caulking manufacture for their recommendations. They want want you to use the correct product.
