    Why?

Why would I give out my personal information when the 'large print' says this:

"By submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to Informa's Terms of Service and to Informa's use of my contact information to communicate with me about Informa's or its third-party partners' products, services, events and research opportunities. Informa's use of the information I provide will be consistent with Informa's Privacy Policy.

In addition, I understand that my personal information will be shared with any sponsor(s) of the resource, so they can contact me directly about their products or services. Please refer to the privacy policies of such sponsor(s) for more details on how your information will be used by them."

I'd hate to read the fine print.

Because that is your only choice if you want something like information from them would be my guess. Don't sign it and see how far you get.

See how far I get, LOL.

I get no spam in my inbox, that's what I get for not giving up a bunch of personal information.

    Here's one for you:
Many years ago, when on the Internet, I began using an alias on forms when I want access to one thing or another. Now, I occasionally get mail via the USPS with that alias. Yet I have never given out my address. Really makes you wonder.

Privacy is gone. Dead and buried.
Can someone please explain to me -
Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?

Your ISP probably sold them your address.

That is part of the reason I use my real name on here... it doesn't really matter anymore. Just like signatures don't mean much anymore.

Ya'll,.... Welcome to the "Orwellian World" of Big Brother, where the Sheeple give up their Data Voluntarily.

Hitler, Mao, & Stalin, are probably rolling in their graves over how easy it was to con the people.
