    Wow that's just terrible. It looks like he ran just 2) 8" ducts off the top. That means it's only rated for 400 cfms. That furnace is supposed to move up to 1200. What a pitiful job. I hope you do something about it.

    It ends with a Tee; the tube drains the overflow and is supposed to be trapped.

    we removed it completely. like i said it was an auxiliary heating source because his hp system ran like crap.

    removed the furnace and put nothing in its place. the new homeowner did get a new xp20 hp.
