    Bad ads on HVAC-talk

Hey folks, I’m having trouble viewing the site on mobile (iPhone or iPad) without hijack ads (“you’ve won a contest” phishing ads) from blocking the site. This seems to be new this morning.

Can you take a look at blocking these bad ads? Thanks!

There's a boatload of people having these problems (posted elsewhere on the site). Try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

Is anybody experiencing these on anything but an iPad? Screenshots would be very helpful.
Are you using desktop or the mobile theme when these ads appear?

If you can tell me how to post my screen shot from an iPhone, I’ll post it.

The animated "Engage" ad at the top right seems to be giving my desktop (Google Chrome) problems. Seems to be sometimes slow to load. Sometimes fail to load. Locks up my reply momentarily, in the middle of typing it.

Browsing in a Private Browsing tab on mobile Safari seems to be keeping them at bay. Hard to say for sure, depends on if the hackers or Google are winning the war that hour.

it's not hackers, it's crappy advertisers.
