    David - mini's are not multi-positional, but they have a drain on both sides. Now it's dual-drained. The rubber plug looks like an adult toy...

    drains into the air gap of the leftmost of the 3 basin sinks on the other side of the wall.

    x2 on evap fresh. Best to knock mold out and disinfect. I use the gallon version. Spray it ,wait a bit and then start washing and or wiping off with cloth.

    Nope i would not our subways all have RTUS on the roof none of them have minisplits in them.
    I would not want the look of the head unit in my store if i had one.
    I think AC units should be out of sight of the customer .

    For ice machines that grow a bunch of fuzzy mold I use Ice Sentry sachet bags. All you have to do is hang em inside the unit. They’re expensive but if you change them monthly they do work.

    That is a nice little pump, and I can think of many times when I would have liked to have one at hand. Still, I like to avoid fighting gravity when I can. One less thing to go wrong.
