My Inbox Helper advertising is very misleading

I know that the forum needs to rely on advertising but this add jumps out at you pretending to be part of the forum. I think it goes way beyond the limits of professionalism and needs to be cleaned up or eliminated.

There is a banner add that appears above the forum title and also in the right hand pane. When it appears it implies that you need to click on it to get access to the forum. Sorry, it didn't appear while I was responding or I would have grabbed a screen shot for you.

It is based on Google analytics which are based on your browsing history. We do not put those ads on HTalk. I know that sounds weird but that is whats happening. If you clear your browsing cache you will give less and less info to marketing ads

I understand the technology behind it but the message in this specific ad is very misleading. If I were a first time visitor and got tricked to go down that path I would be very upset and probably not come back to HVAC-Talk. for what it's worth.

Install an ad blocker and they all go away. I use no-script, which also basically stops the code that serves up the ads.

Google ads have a triangle in the corner that you can click which gives an option to report a misleading or malicious ad.
