    Crystal Tip Help

I have a customer that has a Crystal Tips ice machine model #CAE-025B-P-11. It has the correct refrigerant charge, no leaks, but it's not making ice. He replaced the pump with one of those universal pumps, could it possibly be pumping too much water through the system to make ice?

How do you know it has the correct charge?

Whats the pressures at the beginning of the cycle, middle and just before harvest?

If the machine is making no ice, how can he get the pressure just before harvest?

To the OP- unplug the pump, start the machine and see if the evaporator frosts up. If it doesn't, you have a refrigeration issue.
Experience is what you have an hour after you need it.
