Question cooper atkins temp probe question

Is the thermocouple type temp clamp, https://www.ebay.com/itm/COOPER-ATKI...EAAOSw2N1Zzb3G, as accurate as their thermistor type?

Will this tc type clamp be any better than other mfrs tc temp clamps?

eh, they're not as good and they are more brittle. I dont know about the durability vs other oems.

I had k-type TCs before and they were the worst.

Basically all k-type tc are the same.

This was a question based on your response. Used the wrong punctuation.

ah, well, yes pretty much the same. Their package may be different but in my experience with them they are brittle and dont last very long. They read fine when they are working.

I am still using the 2 I bought 4 years ago after the flukes failed. Granted I don't do lots of roof work and they aren't I the sun a lot but no signs of being brittle.

I bought some for my SMAN460s for the larger pipes. Have not had time to compare them to the Fieldpiece ones yet.

The one I have isnt velcro. it's a strap that locks into a V-shaped slot.

The thermocouple version of that strap is a 54011-K

That's the one I'm looking to get but it cost more than the 4011 which is a thermistor.

The 54011-k are the ones I got for the SMAN460. Pricey if I remember correctly. I do not know why Fieldpiece does not go with the thermistor.

    I have a ton of the 4011 for the SH66 and RH77A
