cancer free flushkit
got tired of dumping flush on my hands when I clean linesets.....
from left to right.
can and cone hose adapters
3/4" suction line adapter
3/8 liquid line adapter
7/8" suction line adapter
I'm gona make something for 1-1/4" suctions and 5/16" liquid lines
I just use an old manifold and hook up high side to nitrogen (to chase) and low side to can of flush (w/o core depressor in the hose). then hook up my yellow to the line I'm flushing. just be sure to NEVER OPEN BOTH HIGH AND LOW SIDES AT THE SAME TIME. I don't even smell it anymore except when I go check my bag at the other end of the l/s. pretty cool I knew there had to of been a better way

I'm required. I would lose my job if they caught me not using it. I am going to research what your saying though because ive been hearing that left and right on here. if you know of any UNBIASED research please post a link.

Get a hold of Refrigeration Technologies and ask for a PDF of "Dirt Devil"
Looks like they are moving stuff around at their website and the link goes nowhere.

Are they saying it's required every time because of MO and POE mixing. If so you should be able to find plenty on how that isn't an issue with oil left in a lineset.

Ya fear of burn outs. They probably heard it through word of mouth and ran with it. Not my business what they wanna spend their money on but it seems like it’ll be a huge sum during the summer when we’ve got 2+. Change outs a day. Thanks iceman I’ll take a look

Retrofit guides do not mention flushing the line sets.

Why don't you just wear the proper PPE?

Lol right. But there also the smell factor. That crap stinks. I would warn the customer every time and they would freak out. Now there is t any smell at all except outside where it’s collecting

I think rheem had a guide. But, they said to flush using 22 w/recovery machine attached not rx11.
