    ESCO EPA Universal license section 608

    Is it legal for a florida certified hvac tech with 3 years of experience an associate degree in Hvac and Refrigeration and a EPA Universal license to do coil cleanings and duct cleaning??
    (without working under a contractor or journeyman)?????

    Seems to me I remember hearing that in Florida general maintenance did not require a license. Someone will most likely be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

    Which is what he'd be working under a journeyman...

    Maintenance I dont believe requires a license unless you are running the business. Additionally, I seem to recall some other members saying there are dollar limits per job that are also a requirement for licensing and type.
