    Yeah... not exactly a replacement for your cell phone battery...

    MeThinks they are meant for storage for grid use... and off the grid use...

    There was a guy that worked at Los Alamos Nat Lab that developed a battery that was recharged immediately with alcohol. He was going to use those little bottles of vodka but decided on windshield washer fluid.
    He took a leave and started Manhattan Scientifics. I don't think he saw lithium coming because his batteries would be heavy today.

    YUP... that was the one...

    I believe that is/was the company noted in my post #10 above...

    Sadly that company has gone through bankruptcy and is re-structured... hopefully the technology will survive and become a basic of grid storage.
