Just switched from Makita to Dewalt.
But i got only the Made in America ones.
Quality is very good i have a lot of tools to choose from and they are plenty of power.
More than Makita. Dewalt is also very ergonomic, every tool fit in my hand like a glove.

Lots and lots of opinions in the tool wars.
I am a milwaukee fan, have been since the 80s and pretty much exclusive to the m18 fuel tools and lights.
Several guys have the dewalt stuff at work as well and it seems to get the job done.
The others all see to do ok as well i have seen a lot of the rigid stuff fail.
Once you choose a platform you will want to stick with it for the sake of batteries and chargera.

So true.
I love my Milwaukee m12 impact and drill. They just feel like an extension of my arm but tools are like food everyone has different taste.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

I couldn't agree more with the M18 tools being hard to work without. When it comes to 12V tools, I'm not looking for power, but convenience. I use Makita sub compact 12V tools almost every day. Im not a fan of the battery in the handle of M12. Don't get me wrong, they're great tools, but I prefer using the Makitas. Truth is, I've used them all at one time or another and never had a problem. My M18 batteries are approaching 6+ years old, I have 6 of them, and never had one fail yet and at least a couple were slightly used when I bought them. I think that's pretty good service.

I'm late to the discussion but my m12 fuel performs as well as my old m18 kit.
