    Whatever happened to pink?

    Pink is out, blue in....

    There's an SI letter out that if you have bad black colored bacteria growing in vsd there's special flushing fluid and procedure but if not just flush out pink good
    I usually run was blue in and flush it then add straight blue

    There was a change of manufacture , so they changed the color. There is a little more anti-bacterial added as well.
    A cleaner has been developed to clean out the coolant side after a growth has started. It does a really good job but takes a few days to do properly.

    I also suggest using vinegar as the flush agent . It works well and is biodegradable .

    It resists degradation longer , mainly with the YMC2 running hotter, it is a good idea though to do the flushing process prior to changing
