    DigiCool iDRSA Video! MUST WATCH!

    Digi-Cool iDRSA Video.

Guys, let me preface this whole thing by saying - this is not currently in production. Once again, you cannot buy these (yet). If you like what you see in the video please contact a tool manufacturer...any of them and tell them "This is what we want! - We want DigiCool! (Not the knock-offs).

The whole purpose of this video is to create interest/buzz about the iDRSA and to showcase the features. Also to get an idea of just how many guys want to own this. Please spread the word. Share on social media!

Enjoy. Contact Doug Lockhart at Digi-Cool Industries for licensing/information. His contact info is on Digi-Cool.com.

    Now onto the feature presentation....

Yea that's a upgrade. I wouldn't be waiting on my Digi-Cool 1250 or AK900 to die before wanting one.

The Ph diagram is the awesome.
Would you be able to add the following to the Ph diagram:

    Net Refrigeration Effect
    Heat Rejection Ratio
    Total Heat Rejected
    Constant Quality
    Max Flow Rate
    Compression Ratio
    Specific Volume

I would actually buy a stand alone app that did the all that. I could also probably get 60ish students a year that would buy it.

Great idea on displaying the scale on the iDRSA screen as well.

    GREAT video!
Side note... the video quit during the clamps part... probably a problem with drop-box.

It seems Doug (field guy) is the only person in the digital gauge manufacturing world who UNDERSTANDS what techs want (well what I would want)!
The basic information ON THE SCREEN... with wireless accessories that display ON THE SCREEN!
The cool apps and stuff are great... however requiring users to link up to a phone or tablet every time they use the gauge set... is just NOT acceptable to me.

    Would I buy it... yeah!
Simple because I have owned and used DC products for a decade!
And they are tuff as railroad spikes (tougher than nails)!
The durability (which many of us at H-talk have experience with) is a foundational reason I would buy it!
And of course we can add to that Doug and Brenda's outstanding customer service!

Note: This unit is definitely aimed at more technical work than simple resi stuff... which is what I do. The main feature I would be interested in would be the wireless clamps and potentially wireless RH sensors (for WB/DB readings)... others may follow: like static pressure... and maybe integrating amps for efficiency calculations???
Honestly... the tablet apps are down the road for me... however once I had the W2000 and could play with it... I probably would figure out how to do deeper level diagnostics with it.

THX Doug... for allowing us to see the video.

So when 'can' we buy one... grin!

My pants are tight from the Ph diagram still.

Hmm, the video plays fully for me.

I'm trying to figure out how to save it off of Dropbox but I don't know if that is possible.

Yeah... and I bought an extra AK900 as a spare... thinking Doug was gonna retire and I would be stuck with the other offerings...

    Still...
The W2000 is a good thing!

When can we get them Doug... [grin]

This thing is fantastic. I do wish he went with the ability for wireless pressure gauges instead of a full-sized manifold. Could have cut down and made the display stand alone and wireless to reduce phone battery drain, but still kept the phone app for all the additional features.

I'm sure wireless pressure probes could be added later! One step at a time! Haha!

Absolutely, Brad! I just think Doug should hit it out of the park on the first swing. A few minor changes and this thing could blow out Fieldpiece, IConnect, and Testo all in one shot. Then again, the field replaceability of parts already casts a dark cloud over the others.

That manifold is nutty looking, I'd pick up a second to throw on my analogs.

And if, for some reason, this doesn't make it to production, any chance of DIY kits?

On my ipad mini there was a dropbox bar at the top that said signup, signin, download. I hit download and got the xtra 3min 21sec.
