ceiling fan remote control after market for led bulbs

Have two fans with older remote controls that will not work with cfl or led bulbs, they flicker. Thinking about adding a small relay to the lighting output of the controller so then it would switch 115v on and off to the bulbs but don't know if the controller would have the same problem with the relay coil as a bulb- flickering.

Try the Sylvania LED14A19/DIM/0/827/RP lamp. This lamp looks like it has Fins on it. It sometimes flickers while dimming in my hunter remote control fan, but once the dimness is set it stops flickering and settles out.

What is causing the voltage drop? Or "Pulsing Voltage"?

A standard incandescent dimmer actually turns the lamp on and off repeatedly. You don't see the flicker due to the speed of the switching. This messes with the electronics in a LED lamp.

If, I remember correctly,... The LEDs have internal circuitry?

That makes since that any external pot switch, rheostat, would interfere with these bulbs.

LED Dimmers, for dimmable lamps, also do an on and off, but they do it with Pulse Width Modulation, the voltage goes up and down, but is never completely switched off. I think this wave is much faster than the incandescent dimmers on and off cycle. I haven't been able to check these dimmers with an O Scope.

Lights in fans are controlled directly off the switch. So, to prevent flickering issues you need a fan compatible/LED/CFL dimming capable switch AND CFL/LED lights capable of dimming. Correct wiring to the switch and light is also a necessity.
