lol thats amazing... the flir E4 unhacked is like 1,000 and only 80 x 60.

the e8 is now 3 grand and has the same resolution of the new seek?

damn flir needs some more competition i guess. either that or their sensor is way better with respect to frame rate or noise etc...idk.

That hacking thing was a long time ago. I think they put the kibosh on it so you would need to find a used one in the age range.

For the cheap phone plug ins the seek has a wider temperature range but the Flir has a more eye pleasing picture with the outline of the visable image over the top.

Oh, the new seek isn't inexpensive. They doubled the price

CAT co sells a construction phone with IR that uses either flir parts or something..it's a pretty bad a$$ phone..but kinda dumb..cause it's also a phone that will eventually get destroyed lol
