Confused Heater Air flow switch setting

    Hi
We have an electric heater in the AHU and the AHU's air flow capacity varies from 3000 - 7000 cmh.
My client is asking us for the calculation / selection details. Please advise how to select the air flow switch?
what will be the default / recommended air flow switch setting?

Standard electric heater airflow is suggested by every manufacturer that I know of to be 70 cfm per KW. As a permissive on an AHU that should not be a problem. Your flow switch setting should be based on 3,000 cmh.

I agree with Wayne. The low limit will be around 70 to
100 cfm per kw. Sometimes you have to play around with the airfow switch to get it to close .
