So you seem to have a Vendetta against the power company. What's your point.

Yes, but expansion / contraction doesn't happen on it's own. The Only Logical Explanation is the Hydro. I have Suspected This For Years. Thanks Quality for Having the Courage to speak the Truth!

Lugs heat up then lugs coil down which can loosen the lug screw.

Ummmm...yes they do. Simple frequent temperature changes will do it. So will a chronic moist environment.

Nah. Try that Bluemaxx crap. I am sure the oil must be fouled in it.

Did you say chronic? Now it's starting to make sense.

The are no brownouts in BC. We have excess hydroelectric capacity. We are usually selling excess generated power to California.

Now, maybe there's a lot of brown outs in Canada. My dad never mentioned having that problem in British Columbia, but then again he had to carry a bucket down to the stream to get water to make breakfast in Nelson.

If there is a pattern of burned wiring, my sense is that there is a very much larger problem afoot then simply a voltage loss, which is typically referred to as a brown out.

Terminals in equipment are generally rated for 75C, and the insulation is often rated for 90C. In order for a wire to burn off from a terminal, the quality of the connection must be low enough to create a resistance, which acts like a heater.

There seems to a be a lot of Power coming from Nuclear power , TN The Hydro Power was put installed in the 40's and 50's so a lot of it is Pretty Old.

They Do Switch Overs Everyday .

They Don't always get it Correct .

There also seems to be Issues as I'm Told from several Near-By's and Seniors in the Area ..
At Least 3 I Know of Personally - were all - Loose Wires .

WIRES DON'T LOOSEN ALL ON THERE OWN ..

    Yes, they do. See above.

Changes in voltage have nothing whatever to do with what you are observing. A few short duration
    transients will not loosen connections.

It's obvious, he has a beef with the power company. Just EXACTLY why, who knows or cares. It's his agenda.

Probably didn't pay his bill last month, and got terminated. Now he wants to slander them into oblivion.

Yeah , they don't have the Foggiest - a Brown Out is NOT a Surge !

Also Please Check to see How may Amps - that R22 Motor can Pull and Remain COOL . . If there isn't enough Voltage the
Motor is Pulling more then Normal AMPS . .

Why the random capitalization? Do you purposely make your posts hard to read?
