    For future reference you have the following

    Board with 3 round push-buttons is the LITE board

    Board with 4 round push-buttons is the 1A board

    Board with two digit LED and 4 push buttons is the ELITE board

    and the newest platform with the digital screen and mini joystick is the SSE board

    Guess I brain farted when originally typing this single post. Corrections are in RED

    Not sure how you can order the wrong board? I know I accidentally swapped the terminology back in that 2016 thread, but they are the same board and interchangeable. In any case, the 3 button board is no longer manufactured and the 4 button replaces it. So you would have gotten the right board anyways if you actually are purchasing it as a HVAC contractor from a reputable York/JCI/UPG dealer?

    9 Flash Code Troubleshooting....

    Limit Terminal on board (top left corner)=What is the Voltage?

    *Less than 19v= there is a problem in the heating section.... Open limit (there are 2), rollout, or IC board issue.

    ** 24v on Limit= The problem is not in the heating section; You may have a bad contactor (3 pole contactors should have 3-7 ohms across the coil/ 2 pole 10-16 ohms); Or You could be dropping voltage on Y1/Y2 and W1/W2 at the same time. If you have 24v on Y1 and 1v on W1 or W2 the board will give you a 9 Flash code... The board thinks you are trying to call for cooling and heating at the same time and it will go into a 9 flash code. Check Tstat and Tstat wiring;

    ***If the unit works after resetting the disconnect (during heating season).... The airflow is POOR. Check filters, belt and the amp draw on the blower motor; If the unit has a FLA or RLA of 8.2, but is only running at 5 amps; MOVE more air; Adjust sheave on the blower motor. The auto limit has tripped 3 times within an hour and will not work again until you reset the unit. Therefore, fix the airflow.

    Last Resort... the board MAY be bad (rarely is)

    Typically....you get more responses to a question if you start your own thread. Please don't post in old threads, because the participants may have retired or moved on.

    Thanks.

    @slctech I would appreciate the troubleshooting guide as well. I've replace both contactors and now the board also. I'm going to go back through the safety circuit again, but this thread is so old, I'd love to get your guide while the "gettin' is good" LOL
