Of course this goes into a fundamental misunderstanding of how salvation works.

I heard the other day Trump got "saved" ....what they mean is he prayed a prayer...talk about legalism! A mechanical christless salvation indeed.

God needs to save a sinner, not some silly vain prayer. What a crime it is to teach this to even children
I bet they gave him a card with a prayer on it and he probably read it while they were driving down the road somewhere.

You would kill me if you could. God is holding you back.

Now as heresy number 5, that the porno King, casino owner, blasphemer who stated that he didn't need to be forgiven, since he never sinned is perhaps saved, yeah right. Your theology (which is wrong) teaches you that a man can be like that, pray a prayer, keep living apart from repentance, and be saved. As a result of course of his "accepting Christ"

Happy world if salvation was like that.

That is salvation by works. Taught so much today it goes nearly unquestioned.

Even the worldling knows it is not so.

    You ASSume so much...

    Why would I kill you?

Do we really need to go into what we all did before being born again?

Do we need to go into the sins we still committ everyday even with Christ in us?

We live in a fallen world full of sin, until Jesus comes back there will always be sin.

And what's with the intellectual dishonesty? Every week at your church droves of deceived people are told "just pray this prayer after me"

At which time they are assured that they are saved.

    THATS SALVATION BY WORKS FOLKS

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

There's nothing else neccessary, salvation is a gift from God through Jesus Christ.

You can still sin and not repent but you will not grow closer or be more like Him. He meets you where you are and does the work. All one has to do is proclaim His name and status and believe in Him and what He has done.

You cannot follow Jesus and sin at the same time, it's a spiritual impossibility.

No they are not. They/we pray with others, Jesus does the saving. We rejoice.

So bottom line is that you have a problem with so called "mega churches". You're gonna hate heaven if that's your beef.

I didn't even go last week because I was out of town and I haven't watched last weeks sermon yet either. I have faith that my church teaches God's Word, people are saved, it's God's house, and encourage you to watch. Clayton King is speaking and I have no idea what the message is other than its about church community. So here you go https://newspring.cc/sermons/
Edit: wrong link above, that was yesterday, didn't know they posted if already. I did go to it and it's good.

Here's what I meant to link though.

Whether you realize it or not, telling people to pray after me this prayer and assuring them that they are saved by this work is teaching salvation by works. You will never see the practice in the bible.

Dress it up how you want, when man does the saving, there is no repentance.

When God does the saving, he works his good pleasure.

Your preachers are "healing the wound of my people slightly"

As are you when you corrupt your own children with this false teaching
