He came to save his people from their sins. Haven't you read?

You err in that you think everyone who opens their mouth with some vain profession is actually one of his people.

You must "believe in the heart into righteousness" which is why the ungodly cannot sit in the congregation of the righteous.

Gotta go, just remember that it was not the sinners prayer that was crucified for you, so stop encouraging people to trust in it.

Try yourself to see whether you are in the faith.

We are in that nutty twilight zone that is foreign to us again, Fridge. It's called the actual word of God. Not your average pop theology, which is why you don't recognize it.
And then there's this that you apparently missed.

    Galatians 6English Standard Version (ESV)

    Bear One Another's Burdens

6 Brothers,[a] if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness.

The question is not whether another recognizes the quote...

Most of us know the references you quote Chase....

The point is for you to man up and take responsibility for what you 'say' is in the Bible, by giving the Scripture...
Then we will go back and examine it IN CONTEXT...
If your interpretation is correct... it will show...

    Now OTOH...
If your interpretation is not correct...
Are you man enough to admit it?

Literally EVERY disciple/apostle/missionary has had to swallow their pride now and then...

It is not a sign of weakness....
It is a sign of maturity...
To make it 100% about God...
    And ZERO% about me.

It was that same Jesus that said "turn them over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit might be saved"

That's after all efforts to lead them to repentance have been exhausted.

Pretty funny...you accuse me of pop theology and watering down the gospel. yet I'm producing a lot of Bible verses that you either don't know about or are ignoring.

    Hmmm...

There is something subtle I think Chase is missing:

The NEW Covenant did NOT really start until after the cross!
Some say the 3rd day when Christ rose from the dead...
Some say on the day of Pentecost.... when they received the HS...

    Regardless...
What is written in the Gospels is, and read this carefully:
    STILL UNDER THE LAW!

And Christ kept the law perfectly... as He (Christ) HAD to go to the cross absolutely sinless.

So when Christ said something as recorded in the Gospels... it is STILL in the old covenant.

What is written in the books of Acts and beyond (the epistles), teaches Grace.

There is one problem to understand Grace though...
It is this idea that one can earn salvation by keeping the law...
Some would call it 'performance based acceptance'...
This idea God only accepts folks who (and read this carefully): keep the law in their own strength.

WE CANNOT keep the law in our own strength... We can only keep the law through the strength of Christ living within us. So you see Chase... it is NOT about YOU... Rather about the Christ within you...

Please read Galations 2:20... it explains that it is not your life, rather Christ living His life through you...THAT, my friend, is GRACE!

    Romans 5:18
Therefore, as one trespass[f] led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness[g] leads to justification and life for all men. 19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. 20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    Romans 6:14
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

    What say ye, Chase?

    Hey Chase...

You are always playing the 'where is it in Scripture' game with us...
Now we are gonna turn the tides and play the same game with you...
Quote: "the power of Sin is in the law"
    Where is it Chase...

He gone for a while, he won't answer any questions anyway Evidently he thinks he is perfect.

Funny how God will arrange 'broken-ness'...
Seems to be necessary to bring folks to Grace...

And GA will be the first to admit...
I did not understand until after God had allowed me to suffer enough to learn.
