    Chorizo

Been wanting to play with some chorizo for years. Just avoided it for whatever. Got some for 50% off. Thinking about putting it in the sun for a week, then feeding it to the neighbor's dog.

Kiddddding. Neither neighbor has a dog. But there are a couple across the street. Never hear them, so the chorizo is for me, LOL.

Anyway, just fried some up, and it taste like some shrimp meat and pasta would be great with it. Any other ideas?

    Two words.

    Steam pot.

Cut up some potatoes, throw in some corn on the cob (the little ones), crustaceans of your choice, and of course, chorizo sausage.

Apply old bay seasoning.... dare I say? Liberally.

Make it more authentic by having the ingredients in a net.

    Hear me out here...

My ex was a vegetarian. The only food I kept eatin after she was gone was SOYRIZO. it has all the flavor of chorizo and none of the garbage tissue and red grease oil of the normal stuff. You would never, never know it was SOYRIZO if you ate it.

    You should look into it

Might want to be careful with that soy stuff....

Soy has been proven to raise estrogen levels in men...
    Resulting in prostrate cancer.

Better to go light on soy products...

When I cook it Im usually adding it to eggs.

Last week the fiancι and I made stuffed green peppers, but made them southwest style and used chorizo instead of ground beef. I highly recommend that.

I put it in boils like mentioned. I'll skin it and shred it with a cheese grinder and put it on home made pizza or in pizza rolls I make but with the chorizo instead of pepperoni.

I made an omelet with basil and chorizo. Try it one day.
