I have a cps 6 cfm for most work and a yellow jacket super evac for when I need to pull a longer vacuum because of its increased oil capacity.
I use some iceman style hoses and both of them work great.

The cordless NAVAC pumps look intersting. I do a fair amount of climbing and it would be nice to have a small unit to take on a roof. I wish I could find some information on run time on batteries, and how much batteries cost. I'll do some searching on cost but can anyone pipe up about run time?

Used for 2 years TEZ8, works great with no issues. Just the other day bought my own off of eBay for 253.00 free shipping!

Good choice. Mine is from the 1980s and still pulls below 20 microns.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

Only problem with the jb pumps is they never give you a good excuse to get a new one.

I think JB was busy in the R&D lab and never got the message.

Quick question you guys: I'm using JYII 93266 5cfm, there is auxiliary service port plugged only with plastic cap with an O-ring. It seats nicely and doesn't leak, but I was thinking as the pump gets older, I need to find a better way to secure that port. Anyone know if I can use a cap of some sort?

I wish they made residential vacuum pumps with KF-16 inlet connections.

Robinair RVP, 15101-A......4.5 CFM. Which was the largest in the series at that time.

At 29.25 pounds it gets heavier each year. 1/3HP cap start.

I have used it about 15 times a year.....hope it outlasts me.

Only had to change the power cord.

Paid $250.00 in May of 1984.

At the time I did see other guys with belt drives.....I thought I was really progressive getting this!
