    Whirlpool Tub Bond / Ground

I just remodeled my master bath, I did the electrical and ventilation upgrade myself. Permit was pulled by Master Electrician. Inspector failed an existing Whirlpool pump due to no bond wire to a ground rod. I installed this. Master said it wasn't needed and maybe dangerous in certain conditions. BTW all piping to the tub is either PEX or PVC, including to the jets.

If you are saying the inspector required a separate ground rod for the pump, I agree with your electrician.
However, as you know , arguing with an inspector is usually a waste of time.

If you put in a separate ground rod just for the pump that is wrong.
