    Capacitor quality and durability

Hope this does not throw a curve to anyone.

I'm working with an electronics application team. We are looking at a Senju CBB65 80uF 600V cap. The specifications on this part are 2x adequate for our use with the added benefit the temperature will never be over 80 degrees F.

The application, what the 80uF cap will see, is close enough to occasional motor starting duty (intermittent phase shift in low frequency circuit) that the question has meaning. Any professional opinions about the caps' use with motors in the field would therefore be welcome.

It looks great actually but we don't have experience with this cap. In its favor are cost and availability.

Anyone use these as replacements? Do you like them? Last a long time?

    Thanks!
