I am a new joinee here. Where can I post my question (Technical)?
Questions: For thermal power plant building application, for low pressure duct design what is the design velocity across grills/diffusers? Max velocity at any point in the duct has been considered as 8m/s.

Hi
does anyone know if City and Guilds qualifications 2078/2079 ref handling can be converted to aquire a license in the usa- The rules as far as I can tell are more stringent in the uk ...but then again...rules are rules
It took mine about 5 days, they have to do their homework on you so good luck
I'm looking forward to pro status so I can access the training pages
The training to become certified in the barber Coleman network 8000 ES or other. For controls
seanbeam, Probably not , your EPA card is received after you pass the test, its not that difficult.
EPA is Environmental Protection Agency, they must have answers on their website to get you started. I'm in the State of Michigan you have to be licensed here to become mechanical contractor , in the state of Illinois you only need EPA certification, you dont have to take test their to be mechanical contractor for residential applications I don't know what is required for Commercial Application or work! Where is City of Guilds?
Welcome Aboard , A lot of information available once you make pro status!
And more to come soon.
I love the smell of phosgene first thing in the morning:
