It is 81 and 85% out side .. 72 Degrees & 59% Inside _ Just got done with Stage II and will be shut down for 3 hours ..

OK - New Testing - I Lower the MRT on the Stat for _Stage 1 to 3 min. from 9 min.
Raised the Stage 2 MRT to 11 min. from 8 min.

This has lowed the Humidity another 5% During the Runs , but still the Lowest is 58%

    Outside Temp 78 Humidity 80% / Morning Temp 70 & Humidity 88%

Also - Why is it that when 2 Window Units are in the same Home they are pulling Humidity 12,000 BTU Unit and a 10,000 BTU Unit ..

But First Stage on the XR17 doesn't seem to pull anything , even adds Moisture . It would be rated around 24,000 BTU's I Believe . .

    Sure doesn't Add Up ..

Never got a High and Low Temp on Coil , Never got a Static Pressure Test , Never even did a Full Volume of the CFM -Supplied - Cal.

Really more like a Shot in the Dark and lets see If that Works out alright .
Guess I'll have to take this to them - Hard ..

Because the 2 window units will have a colder coil temp then your 2 stage A/C has.

In first stage....... I hate two stage ac, horrible humidity control so why bother?
I'm wondering if the op is keeping fan on? This will also be counterproductive in humidity control.
Lock out 1+2 stages, fan on auto!

When sized right, and set up right. first stage will have a long enough run time to dehumidify. Just too many companies over size them. And claim because its 2 stage it doesn't matter/hurt.
