Prayers, Good Thoughts, Well Wishes for Dad (Lusker)
Hello H-Talkers
We thought we should make you aware of what Dad (Lusker) has been dealing with. For those who don't know; Dad is the administrator of this site and has been the driving force behind it for many years.
About 3 months ago, his wife went to the doctor because of severe headaches and some other issues. They ran tests, and discovered that she had stage 4 cancer. They determined that there was little that could be done, and they gave her 6 months to live.
Unfortunately, the cancer progressed faster than they originally thought, and his wife lost the battle on Wed, July 8th.
Obviously, this is a terrible loss for Dad, and his life will change dramatically.
Please feel free to comment, add your condolences, well wishes, etc. I'm sure he will draw strength from your caring and support, as he considers the members of this site part of his extended family.

Well, I am very sorry to hear of this loss, as I hate very few things in this world , and cancer and death are very much at the top of my list. It was just over 3 years ago that I lost Julie to stage 4 cancer, and ever since then I have been a little bit more focused in my life about conquering this disease. Many of you know that I've been supporting Bret as much as I can through this website as he deals with his melanoma and his tumors, and I've been giving to the Relay for Life via his Team. I also pray for the members of this site on a daily basis who are struggling with this disease right now, including Bret and Just Call Me Dave.
My heart really goes out to you at your loss, and I hope that the Lord will give you comfort and help you to cope with this in the coming days. In my case, I found the first 3 months to be the absolute worst 3 months of my life.I was in a very dark place at first. This is probably the greatest trial ever to be faced in a man's life, but the good news is if you ask the Lord for help, he will help you... and you will get through this.

My condolences and thoughts are with you as well. My mom had headaches that were diagnosed as an inoperable brain tumor and passed away a few months later too.

My 5 year old granddaughter had a Wilms tumor last labor day and went through treatments (surgery,radiation and chemo). We were blessed, she is now clear. I can't imagine the alternative. Prayers to you Dad.
