My yellowjacket leak detector is acting strange.. no coming out of warm up . Beeps uncontrollably and shows a low battery charge.. changed batteries and still to no avail. Still does not come out of warm up stage.......... sensor bad?

It sounds like your sensor needs to be replaced. That part number is 69384. Generally, with continuous use, a sensor should be replaced as soon as it does not reach the correct temperature during warm up at which point it will not allow the unit to pass the warm up phase at start up. You also need to replace the little disk filter - part number 69385.

Replaced the sensor and filter the detector never comes out of warm up and there is no response when I try to shut it off I have to remove the batteries to shut this very expensive leak detector off.
