    Program to render graphics

About 10 years ago, I used a program that would render very nice 3D graphics that weren't too cluttered
from a 2D diagram. Problem is, I don't remember the name of the program. Does anyone know of a program
that can do that? I have Microsoft Visio I use for submitting control drawings, and it would be nice if Visio
could do that, but I don't think it can. Many thanks.

I've seen a lot of things in my life but what may be the most amazing thing I've ever seen was the Wizard of Oz in 3D. Don't know how they did it but it was spectacular.

I've used sketchup quite a bit. It has a learning curve but is very limited in features. As for what I used it for, it was very satisfactory. If you need more features, I would go with AutoCAD.... Or the many cheaper alternatives. (Google will be your best friend There) Just make sure you try them out before buying. (Sketchup was free the last time I used it)
