Awesome, my favorite was the chicken thing for sure, that must have been like the car wash flappers sucking them in? My company makes hydraulic valves for 90% of the machines in that video, I'm amazed sometimes at the stuff we get our hands on.

they might just be transferring them to a different pen to then be selected for the frying pan. I lived next to Plainville turkey farm for 35 years and did some work there too. they had "staging" pens. the last pen was where they got hand picked (per specs) for "the end line" as they called it. it was a conveyer that the turkey was hung by the neck. I never got to witness the actual operation but was told by the employees.

Yeah, working in commercial HVAC, you try to forget some of the behind-the-scene stuff you see in the food industry.

Thanks for posting that link. I'm going to forward that to some people.

No wonder chicken is only $1.99/lb. But steak is $5.99/lb. If they had a machine that would scoop up the cows like the machine that does the chickens...

    Very cool video!
As far as which is my favorite, I'm torn between the machine that sets out and picks up the highway lane barriers, and the last one - the home made automatic can crusher.
