My favorite BBQ sauce recipe is:

Twist the cap off a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's, invert the bottle, squeeze, repeat as necessary.

Yup Sweet Baby Rays, Sweet 'n Spicy.
If you can't fix it with JB Weld, Duct Tape, and Ty Wire it has to be replaced.

It really depends on what you're BBQing. I used to whip up a sauce right before BBQing, never have liked the commercial ones much. Personally, now I just use a bit of salt and fresh ground black pepper, it really allows the flavor of the meat to come through.

I do have an Asian sauce I use once in while, it is authentic in that it replicates that flavor of the pork you get in Chinese restaurants. I'll post it if you want, but you may need to have an Asian community nearby; although a couple of the ingredients are not hard to get, you'll need an Asian section in your local grocer or an Asian market. [There is a large Asian population in the Bay Area where I live, so the local mainstream market even carries the stuff]

I also have a recipe for pork ribs done on the Webber, I can post if you want. It's more of a process. First there is the rub. Then the basting while cooking. Then the dipping sauce for the final product. All the flavors marry.

Since there is no boiling of the ribs, it is a slow cook method at lower heat for 4 to 6 hours. You've got to commit the time or the ribs will just be tough in the end. Even having more coals ready to go to keep the long term heat going. It's what I typically do on the Fourth or July.

I usually take my favorite commercial BBQ sauce (it differs depending on the type of meat) and kick it up with at least a shot of Jim Beam Devils Cut.

OK, here is one from my files. This is the sort of bbq sauce I grew up with in South Georgia.

    Mystery Bbq Sauce
    Serving Size : 24 Preparation Time :0:25
Categories : Barbeque Bbq Sauces And Rubs

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 each yellow onion -- grated
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 cup ketchup
    1 cup mustard
    1/2 cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice -- freshly squeezed
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
salt and pepper -- to taste

Saute(sweat) the onion in the butter.

Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes or so.

Use as finishing sauce, and/or table sauce for pork, chicken, or beef

    You may try this one:

    The Ingredients

Tomato Sauce + Paste. For the tomato enhance, I utilized tomato glue and tomato sauce rather than ketchup.

Apple Cider Vinegar. The vinegar adds some genuinely necessary acridity to our sweet and tart grill sauce formula.

Maple Syrup + Molasses. To improve things up, I utilized a little maple syrup and molasses. I love the manner in which the maple plays against the solid flavors in the flavors, and both of these fixings make the sauce rich and thick as well. For a somewhat unique flavor, you can likewise make this grill sauce with nectar rather than maple syrup (don't skirt the molasses however).

Worcestershire Sauce. Another key segment in the mission to locate the ideal parity of sweet, exquisite, and tart. Worcestershire sauce is strongly exquisite and in a flash adds a since quite a while ago stewed flavor to the sauce.

Seasonings. Smoked paprika, dry mustard, garlic powder, salt, and dark pepper brings about a work of art, adjusted blend of flavors. While it's discretionary, including a scramble of cayenne pepper gives the perfect measure of warmth. See beneath for tips on the best way to make your sauce additional fiery.

Then you mix all of it and it's the end

Sounds like Miss July's ribs. They were too good to cover with anything too.

    Ah yes...

    Texas style BBQ sauce...

I grew up there... never do find BBQ sauce as good here as I remember there...

BBQ sauce is a regional thing... sadly one has to order on the internet to get the one they like...
