The song, issued by Louisiana-based Jewel Records on the Paula label, became successful, knocking another Beatles song ("Hello, Goodbye") out of the No. 1 chart position on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in January.
Bought the 45 in 1968, one hit wonder but I liked the song.....

At least that's what I thought they were singing when I was a kid, LOL
Well,...there is a different named gal in the sky, but she has diamonds instead of glasses, maybe you might have heard of her...Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

You know what is weird about this vid? Is the name "Disturbed" in the title. Like this girl heard the version by Disturbed, but not necessarily the original version by Simon and Garfunkel.
I posted the version by Disturbed some time ago. It's got to be one of my all time favorites now. Just not so sure this girl understands the history. Or maybe, it's someone else posting the vid that really doesn't have a clue.
Regardless, the word 'disturbed' does not belong in the title of this vid.
If I'm wrong, let me know.
