Speaking of the Chambers Brothers song Time Has Come Today, yes that’s a great song,....I liked that song so much I bought the 45 when it came out in 1968 and still have it along with a bunch of other 45’s from other Artist/Groups in that time frame. B side is People Get Ready written by Curtis Mayfield.

Those were the days (Original) Russian - Дорогой длинною
    Paintings by; Konstantin Razumov

    English Lyrics translated from Russian ;

They rode in a troika with bells, And lights flickered in the distance.
Eh, how would I now follow you, Soul to dispel from longing.
Dear long, but moonlit night, Yes, with that song that flies into the distance,
ringing, Yes, with that old, but seven-string, That tormented me so at night.
Yes, with that old, but seven-string, That tormented me so at night.
Yes, it turns out, we sang for nothing, We burned in vain night after night.
If you are done with the old, these nights are gone.
Dear long, but moonlit night, Yes, with that song that flies into the distance,
ringing, Yes, with that old, but seven-string, That tormented me so at night.
    (2) From now on, we are destined to go to our homeland in new ways.
We rode in a troika with bells, And now we arrived a long time ago.
Dear long, but moonlit night, Yes, with that song that flies into the distance,
ringing, Yes, with that old, but seven-string, That tormented me so at night.
Yes, with that old, but seven-string, That tormented me so at night.
Yes, with that old, but seven-string, That tormented me so at night.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. (President Theodore Roosevelt)

This is the first game for the Huskers this season so this seems a fitting tribute. This is not the first tunnel walk that I saw but it is similar. When the trophies land on the stadium i swear you could feel it shake. Always a good time.

Great song. Mike Morton is guitar player from Lamb of God. His albums feature singers from many different bands.
