    wanted QVM9 quietside parts

Our ministry that helps the homeless and those in need is looking for parts for our QVM9 quietside tankless water heater/boiler. We can't afford a new unit and was hoping someone had an old unit that they took out would have some parts. We are mostly looking for the control board but figure other parts in our unit will eventually go out - so want to plan ahead.
    Thank you.

I believe those boilers are under recall, Quietside may compensate you for a new boiler.

It is the S-line that has a recall to install limit switches. The QVM9 series that we are talking about is a different machine

I wish our unit was under the recall - It would have saved me HOURS of research. I am located in Illinois outside of Chicago.

I don't usually bash equipment, but quietside is the worst garbage ever to be called a boiler.

You would be best off not spending a penny on it and making a loan for a decent boiler.

    Hello,

I need an air pressure switch for a QVM9. I reside in Haliburton Ontario and am happy to pay extra shipping costs as needed.

    Best Regards,

the recall doesn't mean you get a new boiler or a refund. They send out some guy with two limit switches that clip on to the heat exchanger and wire into the high water temp limit.

There is absolutely no support for these. after the recall Samsung spun off the Quietside US boiler division into a sham corporation called Challenger Supply Holdings. They are the support and contact for quietside boilers, but don't answer the phone and have no idea what they're talking about when they do.

We don't have the money to replace the boiler at this time, therefore we are looking for parts.

I also have a QXM 8 oil fired boiler, manufactured in 2002, recently it has been shutting down daily. Powering it off and on thankfully restarts it, but the problem is becoming more frequent. The reset button starts it for a few seconds than it stops, red light comes on. My experienced HVAC guy has looked at it and serviced it, he thinks it is probably the control board.

He contacted Quietside they agree it is probably the control board but the board is no longer produced and they do not have any boards. Solution buy a new boiler "OUCH"!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to:
-where I can get the Control board for a QMX 8 oil burner? Or
    - is there a replacement control board?

    Thanks, love my Quietside, NOT!
