    Controls Jobs in North Carolina

Anybody know what the market is like for programmers in NC? I'm thinking about getting out of CT! Happy Holidays.

Pretty darn busy from what I hear. If I get sick of snow I may move in this direction also.

Control Management, Inc. out of Columbia, SC has some territory in southern NC. I spent several years with them, they're an A+ team from top to bottom. I'd have no problem recommending them to anyone.

Are you thinking of Kent or Glenn? Unless they hired another Ken (always possible) I left at the end of 2007. I know you live less than an hour away, might be a good chance to meet for coffee or a beer.

Thanks for the replies. From what I've seen so far, the pay scale is much lower. But then again, so is the cost of living.

You are correct on both counts. NC is better than SC, however on both. Plus, from what I understand, the public schools are also better in NC.

This is true. I moved from NH to SC and all I can say is study some of the more popular cost of living calculators to try and figure the situation out.

Harris also has some territory in western NC.
