    need help understanding wiring phase monito and timers

    am trying to understand timers and phase monitors how they are wired in wiring diagrams in a typical comm unit can any one help please

    each manufacturer different...but basically they monitor 3 legs of power, if one leg drops then it will cut out control circuit, some have a adjustable delay for time out.

    Thank you for anwering my thread i also wanted to know how to wire in condensation pump so it can shut off power to unit if it fails got in problem yesterday if you dont mind anwering questions

    That's a fairly easy thing to do with controls.
    Are you a new tech? Some of your questions indicate so.

    It sounds to me like you need a more in-depth explanation than we can offer to you in the open forums.

    The high level safety is used to shut off mechanical cooling in the event of condensate overflow. Wire it to do just that.
    We can't give you step by step instructions in the open forums.

    i will do that for the pro membership thank you am new to this site , am a new tech trying to get more better on hvac electrical and machincal troubleshooting in the field after looking around online for individaul type of training or help, i think this site should be it . thanks again

    Do you have a lead tech or journeyman with you? Not to offend you, but these questions are a bit elementary. I appreciate you trying to learn and be a better tech.
    Wire it wrong and you can have a major meltdown of unit components.
