An old timer got bent out of shape a couple years back because people were cutting the temp units out leaving stubbs way too short and with few options. Lazy old fart. This unit is probably from that era and naturally all the install techs started to see how long they could leave the stubb and with as many fittings as possible until he got upset about it being too long and cluttered.Understood, sarcasm has a habit of going over my head

Personally, I find it more discrete to just mark the inside of the disconnect, but that works.
