    Hopefully you understand that cap tubes or flow-raters don't offer the performance a TEV does.

    They're sized to operate at design superheat at a specific design condition. Anything outside of the design condition results in either lower or higher superheat, because the cap tube cannot regulate flow in response to superheat.

    TEVs do.

    Yeah, I get that...but a "adjustable" tev that requires the removal of the suction line seems a bit...........troublesome. all those non combustibles and all...
    Let's give nukes a chance.
