    Refrigeration System Analyzer Problems

I bought a YJ analyzer last year and im having a couple problems with it.
    1. It will not turn off. If you try to power it off it will only reset. I either have to pull the power pack or let it time out.
    2. The hi and low sides always show inHg when I turn it on which throws off my diagnosis a bitand I can't find a way to zero the unit out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should still be under warranty. Take it back to Johnstone, they should be happy to help you.

To turn it off you have to hit the top of the power button

NO, battery. I called it. I want my prize too. Lol, if it was a software issue they would update.

    YJ 40812 Vacuum gauge calibration

I have the YJ Analyzer which is a few years old, works fine, but I rarely used the vacuum gauge. Was doing an install over the weekend and was using my YJ 69075 and decided to compare the two. The readings were way off, so I connected both the Analyzer, YJ 69075 and my Hastings VT-4 to a 1/4" Cu tube manifold on the Vac pump connection. the Hastings and the YJ 69075 were fairly close, but the Analyzer was way off. I recorded the readings of each of the three meters in the attached file. Anyone ever had the Analyzer vacuum calibrated, or can the vacuum sensor be recalibrated?
