Put your filter drier inside!!!!!! Especially since you're in the "rain belt"
Earlier this week I posted the XV20i video and this is the mid range XV18. Only real differences between the two units is that the XV20i has a 12 year compressor vs 10 year, the XV20i has the Trane special XL top and the XV20i is higher SEER but same HSPF rating(and in Portland SEER doesn't mean much).
I also recorded the noise level of the system, you can barely hear the compressor running and the fan is super quiet. I filmed this at the startup of the unit so some of the cords are not tied up and the panels on the outdoor unit are just loosely set in place.
Have not done our CFM test on the ductwork yet but there is literally no noise from the ductwork so I can't imagine there being an issue for this two ton system that had an old 2.5 ton heat pump.

Does that unit not come with a drier already installed?
If you ever need to replace that electric heater, it's gonna be a PITA.
Good job though

The drier is field installed. It has an internal muffler for sound reduction. See the refrigerant circuit diagram below.

We've installed quite a few XV18i/XV20i's in the past couple of months. Truly, truly, amazing pieces of equipment. I'm blown away every time I watch one operate.
