Some excitement in Indiana. Worst hit seems to be Kokomo so far. Definitely some tornado activity. My house NW Indy has had nothing this afternoon, had 2" overnight. Actually just noticed some rain outside now. But almost over for the metro.

We had some nasty storms come thru. Tornado's hit about an hour south of me. I heard of 1 fatality so far but the pics on the local news are devastating. The town of Washington got hit the worst it looks like. I heard 17 confirmed tornado touched down here in IL.Winds are forecasted in the 40+mph for the next 24hrs. My grill and patio furniture are upside down, but that's about it.

The genesis of this thing touched off just west of here and was gone before it could do little more than fell a few trees here and there and basically destroy all of the leaf cleaning activities that took place over the weekend. All without so much as a thunderclap. But I don't recall ever feeling a system so unstable...warm and calm one minute and a strong chilly gust the next.

    Scary stuff.

Wife was scared, but passed without any major damage that I'm aware of.

Yep. Right before the holidays, too.

    Awful.
